Four levels, all the way to a doctorate.

Every program is biblically grounded, Spirit-led, and taught by instructors who know your name. Start where your study begins and go as far as you are called to go.

“Their curriculum is exceptional, biblically sound, and designed to help students truly understand and apply the Word of God.”

Simone Davis — Student

Built for people who are already busy.

Most people who feel called to study never start, because the programs available assume you can stop everything else. This one does not.

01Instructors who know your nameSmall classes led by people in ministry themselves. You are not a number in a lecture hall, and Dr. Hill teaches here herself.
02One evening a week, from homeTwo hours of class, about eight hours of study around your own schedule. Real academic work that fits a job, a family, and a ministry already in motion.
03The full cost, publishedEvery figure is on the tuition page before you apply, so you can pray it through and plan with your family rather than discover it later.
04Open to anyone calledEighteen or older with a high school diploma or GED. No prior Bible college, no entrance exam, no audition. A heart to learn is the requirement.
Your credential
Your diploma carries the
North Carolina Theological seminary’s name.

Truth Bible Institute is a satellite campus of North Carolina Theological Seminary. Every degree is conferred by NCTS and carries the seminary’s name, not the campus name. All degrees are post-secondary degrees rather than degrees of arts.

What the work actually asks of you.

Class meets one evening a week, from 7:00 to 9:10pm, fully remote. Beyond that you should expect around eight hours of your own study, fitted around a job, a family and a ministry already in motion.

The work is real but not overwhelming. Every student writes an essay or thesis at their degree level, with a rough draft due in January and the final in March. Class participation is graded, and college-level writing is expected. You will be stretched.
