Dr. Gwanda F. Hill

Dr. Gwanda F. Hill is the Founder of Truth Bible Institute, a Christ-centered Bible school committed to equipping believers to rightly divide the Word of God and fulfill their God-given calling with excellence and integrity. She serves as a Site President within North Carolina Theological Seminary.

With more than three decades of ministry, leadership, teaching, and mentoring experience, Dr. Hill has dedicated her life to developing disciples, training leaders, and strengthening the Body of Christ through sound biblical education. She believes that every believer should be grounded in Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped for effective ministry.

Dr. Hill holds a Doctorate in Theology, a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling, and is a Nationally Certified Christian Counselor (NACC) and Nationally Certified Grief Counselor (NACC). She also serves as an ordained minister and chaplain, bringing together biblical truth, compassionate counseling, and practical ministry experience to help individuals grow spiritually and walk confidently in their purpose.

Under her leadership, Truth Bible Institute provides affordable, academically sound, and spiritually enriching programs designed for pastors, ministers, church leaders, and believers who desire a deeper understanding of God’s Word. The institute emphasizes biblical doctrine, servant leadership, discipleship, and practical ministry application while cultivating lives that reflect the character of Christ.

Dr. Hill’s passion extends beyond the classroom. She is committed to seeing lives transformed through the power of God’s Word and believes that true education is not simply the accumulation of knowledge but the transformation of the heart.

Her life’s mission is simple: to equip the saints, strengthen the Church, and raise up faithful leaders who will impact their communities and the world for Jesus Christ.

Students graduate alongside the wider seminary each year, in caps and gowns, in front of their families. Most of them started exactly where you are now, wondering whether it was too late.

“Dr. Hill was the best Instructor. It was during the hardest times in my life, when my husband was in the hospital and then died. I would like to say I made him proud by sticking it out and graduating.”
